Event Name: Book launch of our Cookery book 'Festive Indian Recipes' by Saroj Kering. The release was followed by demonstration of recipes from the book by the author.
Event Description: The book was launched for the 1st time in Mumbai. The book, 'Festive Indian Recipes', is an attempt to present the diverse traditional festival recipes for the variety of Festivals that India celebrates. The diversity of colour, flavor and Indian culture has been reflected marvelously in the book. The book strives to strike a balance between the traditional and modern cooking.
The author Saroj Kering is a staunch believer that cooking is an art and more importantly, one that emanates from the heart, Saroj brings to you recipes which are tried and tested since the past 35 years. Her main ingredients are Variety, Creativity, and Vegetarianism.
During the event Saroj Kering spoke few words about the book, answered few questions from the audience and gave some useful tips for day-to-day cooking. She demonstrated 2 recipes from the book a Jaljira drink and a mixed salad. The audience was treated to the recipes demonstrated by Saroj.
