Navneet Publications (India) limited a leading Educational Book Publishers and manufacturers of wide range of stationery have declared their result for the quarter ended 31st March, 2004 at the Board Meeting held on 27th April, 2004.

The turnover has dropped marginally from Rs.4613.72 lacs to Rs.4268.43 and the other income has increased from Rs.105.13 lacs to Rs.379.39 lacs. The Profit before Tax has more than doubled from Rs.383.48 lacs to Rs.793.39 lacs. However due to higher tax provision of Rs.354.67 lacs against Rs.84.68 lacs in the corresponding quarter last year, the Profit After Tax has gone up by 47% from Rs.298.80 lacs to Rs.438.72 lacs.

Earning per share for the quarter has increased from Rs.1.57 to Rs.2.30.
