NAVNEET ANNOUNCES Q1 RESULTS

Navneet Publications (India) Ltd., a leading educational book publishers have announced Quarterly Results for the First Quarter ended 30th June 2006. The turnover of the Company has increased from Rs.160.04 crores to Rs.173.69 crores. The Operating Profit increased from Rs.45.04 to Rs.52.32 crores. After providing Rs.15.33 crores (against Rs.11.00 crores) for depreciation, profit after tax increased from Rs.31.20 crores in the corresponding quarter to Rs.34.06 crores.

The Board of Directors of the Company approved the sub-division of equity shares of the Company from Rs.10/- per share to Rs.2 per share, subject to approval of Members of the Company.
